My favorite thought for a rainy day
is how the lord loves to play
he sends the pitter patter on the roof top
so we can hear every drop
my favorite thing to do on a rainy day
is to lay and cuddle and play
to watch the clouds dance away
leaving nothing but skies of grey
out pops a rainbow
with all its beautiful colours
to remind us of God's love which he showers
and of his promise too
which forever remains true.
